The Spline Dovetail Jig is used with the SmartFence and IPM Fence to produce incredible Spline Joints. What's awesome about this jig is that it locks into the patented dovetail slot on SmartFence and IPM Fence - keeping the jig running true all the time. Made from MDF, this jig is proven. Holds your mitered box at 45 degrees to the table for cutting splines. With the Spline Dovetail Jig you can also make double dovetail splines as well as double box joint splines for any of your box projects. The Combination Featherboard and Stock Pusher locks into the extruded dovetail on SmartFence. Holds the workpiece firmly down on the table for consistent cuts. Prevents kickback and keeps fingers safely away from the cutting tool. Reversible feathers for shaper or bandsaw.

Designed for 24", 27" and 32" router table tops. Holds the workpiece against both the infeed and outfeed faces of the fence for consistent cuts. Prevents kickback and keeps fingers safely away from the cutting tool. Feathers can be reversed for shaper or bandsaw use. Runner is an aluminum extrusion which provides more rigidity. This is the same extrusion that is used for the SawTrain Featherboard. Fastens to the table using clamps that pinch the sides of router table. Before the introduction of the Jumbo Face Plate, it was difficult to hold wide boards on end on top of a router table. The only way was to clamp a wider board to the standard Vertical Push Fixture, then you could clamp your board to the auxiliary piece. The Jumbo Face Plate’s 12” x 6-1/2” design allows you to handle larger stock accurately and easily.

Coping is making a profile cut across the end of a narrow board.This type of cut would be difficult to keep square to the fence by hand. Examples of coping are coping rail ends, slotting, tenoning, rabbeting, dadoing and glue joints such as drawer and lock miter. Our new Coping Kit will make these operations more precise, safer and much easier. It is used on the VPF-2 and includes three double-ended polyethylene blocks ready for profiling and a Plexiglass hold down shield. The blocks are machined and pre-drilled to attach to the VPF-2 faceplate when it is positioned for coping operations. After establishing the correct height of your bit, one end of a block is cut to that profile. It then becomes your backer to prevent tear out during use and then serves as a quick & perfect gauge block for future setups. The Hold Down Shield holds the stock to the table during coping operations and also serves as a bit guard when mounted onto SmartFence as shown below.

Kit includes a case-hardened twin drilling guide for both 3/8” and 5/8” hinges, a 6” long, 1/8” diameter HSS drill bit, one 5” length of brass rod for the hinge pins (JHK-ROD), a hardwood blank for making a pair of hinges and a complete illustrated instruction manual. This is the only drill guide which is hardened, plus, it incorporates precision backstops to guarantee perfectly drilled hinges every time. Jointech’s 2.5” Clamp comes in handy when cutting small stock using the Vertical Push Fixture. When workpieces are too narrow or too short, it is harder to grip the piece during the cutting process. This can create results that are less than perfect. The Hold Down Clamp uses a T-bolt that engages into the extruded T-slot on Vertical Push Fixture face plate.
The Hold Down Clamp can also be used with the Hinge Making Kit to hold small wooden hinge blanks while drilling for the brass hinge pin.
