Jointech Router Table Tops

All router tables are pre-drilled to accept the Clincher Mounting Baseboard (RTB). These PREMIUM Tables are made from 3/4” thick, SOLID Phenolic (color yellow). Phenolic Tables are pre-drilled to direct-mount the Clincher. They also have predrilled holes on bottom to attach a leg set or cabinet frame. Router tables listed below have a cutout for a router plate measuring 9-1/4” x 11-3/4” and will accept any Jointech insert plate or SmartLift.

Use the Planning Guide below to help determine which size table and router system combination will best meet your needs. Range refers to the distance that SmartFence can be positioned away from the router bit. This will then determine the board width capacity for jointmaking. Overhang is the amount that SmartFence will extend over the front and back edges of the table.


SOLID PHENOLIC TOPS
This is our newest and most durable material available. Phenolic, which has rapidly become the most sought after material for router tables, has excellent compressive strength and incredible impact strength. These tops can withstand heat and moisture without effecting their flatness over a period of time. Phenolic tables are recommended for use with the SmartLift and Porter Cable Motor although not mandatory. Currently Phenolic tops are available in 24"x32" (PT-24) & 27"x36" (PT-27) widths for router table usage. Our PT-27 (27" wide) top is popular because it can be converted into a table saw extension table for future use with our SawTrain Systems. These tops all have a 9-1/4" x 11-3/4" cutout that will accommodate any one of our 5 router plate inserts which are not included.

Note: that Phenolic Router Tops are pre-drilled for Mounting Baseboard (RTB) and aslo they are pre-drilled for Clincher's base plate. This makes it possible to directly mount Clincher Fence Machine directly to the table top surface without using #RTB. For Phenolic Table Saw Extension Tables, click here.

The chart below has been designed to show the dimensions of our available router table dimensions along with the CabinetMaker's System recommendations for each top. 24" x 32" Router Table Layout
Considered Jointech's Standard Top, 24" x 32" is pictured on Jointech’s Routing Center. It is ideal for making average size cabinet doors, molding, jewelry boxes, and dovetailed drawers. Popular for those who are trying to save workshop space.

27" x 36" Router Table Layout
Our 27" wide tops are popular because they can accommodate either the 12" or 18" Clincher machine. 27" x 36" tops can be used as a stand alone router table or later as an extension on the table saw.

32" x 48" Router Table Layout
The 32"x48" is the largest of our Router Tops. This top will allow the use of our 26" Clincher Fence Machine for those who want maximum fence range. This top will give you maximum workspace if you have the room in your shop. Now available in SOLID Phenolic!
